Kaunas is the second-largest city in Lithuania, located in the central part of the country, at the confluence of the two largest Lithuanian rivers – the Nemunas and the Neris. Kaunas is situated 100 kilometres from the capital Vilnius and 212 kilometres from Klaipėda, the country’s largest port. Kaunas is a creative and modern city, an important centre of culture, science, industry, transport and history.

Kaunas Film Office, in cooperation with local authorities, provides comprehensive assistance to filmmakers in Kaunas city and region, provides scouting and management of filming locations, takes care of all necessary permits.
